Hadiye Ünsal (Assoc. Prof. Dr.) received her bachelor’s (2007), master’s (2010), and doctoral (2014) degrees from Çukurova University. She has conducted research at institutions such as Frankfurt Goethe University and the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. Between 2009 and 2018, she served as a research assistant and later as a faculty member at the Faculty of Theology at Çukurova University. In February 2018, she joined Ankara Social Sciences University. Her doctoral dissertation was awarded the “M. Cemal Sofuoğlu Turkish-Islamic Studies Encouragement Award” and the “KURAMER Publication and Research Award.” She is the author of the books Tefsirde Heterodoksi: Kâdiyânîlik ve Kur'an, Erken Dönem Mekkî Surelerin Tahlili, and Kur'an Tarihi (co-authored with Mustafa Öztürk).
